Espress Test

Espress Test was founded in Cornwall in 2010 by engineer Mark Allen. With over a decade of experience in the coffee industry, combined with extensive and varied prior engineering experience, Mark identified a clear niche for a simple, cost effective solution to allow businesses to comply with the Pressure System Safety Regulations. The Regulations are a point of law, thus, failure to comply will invalidate insurance and leaves operators open to prosecution. A catastrophic failure of a steam vessel has potential to damage property, injure or put to risk life. The ethos of Espress Test is to provide a friendly, helpful and professional service. We try to educate operators of pressure vessels, so they are equipped with the knowledge to ensure the integrity of their pressure vessel, and the safety of themselves, their staff and customers. We don’t believe in selling, but rather, presenting the advice and insight required to enable informed decisions to be made. From our headquarters on Cardrew Trade Park we complete examinations on coffee machines throughout Cornwall. Further afield, we have a team of area representatives, each individually trained by us. Each are all fully qualified and time served engineers in their own right; we give them the knowledge and support for them to be able to perform coffee machine safety examinations throughout the country. With over 150 years of combined experience in working on espresso machines, the national team at Espress Test are the local experts for Pressure Systems safety in the coffee industry. Through hard-work, dedication and education, Espress Test is proud to have grown to become a leading independent provider, of this service, in the coffee industry.

The Craft Collective

The Craft Collective is an Arts and Crafts Gift shop, where you can find that perfect and unique present for yourself or your loved ones. We offer crafts people the opportunity to be able to showcase and sell their artwork or craftsmanship by renting a space from us. We then market, and sell their products and return to them 100% of the sales. This is a collective of artists and crafts people who have come together to promote the creative industries. With that in mind we also offer a great range of workshops to enable people to get creative, learn something knew and develop their talents.
